The city of Los Angeles, California, is feeling pretty good right now about their professional sports teams. The Los Angeles Lakers are very competitive with new head coach JJ Redick. The Los Angeles Kings are tops in the NHL Pacific Division. The Los Angeles Dodgers have just won the World Series.

The Dodgers did it in style. They held the winningest record of the 2024 season, Then they dismantled the San Diego Padres (3-2), the New York Mets (4-2), and then the New York Yankees (4-1) to claim the ultimate prize. The Dodgers won the pennant.

And then there is the Los Angeles Rams, a team that is on a three-game winning streak after their Week 6 BYE, and hosting the Miami Dolphins in Week 10. A win over the Dolphins places the Rams over .500 for the first time this season.

The professional athletes in Los Angeles, California, are often spotted and photographed supporting one another. It's a collective support group, a way of sports fans in the city to connect with athletes who are themselves fans of the other sports teams. And yes, even LA Rams Head Coach Sean McVay gets swept up as a fan of the Dodgers.

But the Dodgers season is over. Now, fans are pivoting from the rivotting thrill of leather on leather, the crack of a bat, and the cloud of dust after a successful steal, and focusing on the gridiron. Now, the city's insatiable hunger for titles and wins turns to the Rams to satisfy that urge. So far, this team has obliged.

Winning three games in a row may not jump off the page. But at the time the Rams took down the Las Vegas Raiders (2-4), Minnesota Vikings (5-1), and Seattle Seahawks (4-4), all held hopes of postseason competition. and two teams still do.

The Rams may have struggled early, but they were hit with their NFC North Division games instantly, a division that has an aggregate record of 23-10 at the midpoint of the 2024 NFL season. That's a tough mountain to climb when injured. But this team is getting healthy. Rookies are gaining NFL experience. And the Rams units are playing more and more cohesively. Will Dodgers fans find more trophies in the NFL?

That is the goal. As always, thanks for reading.
