Baldy's Breakdown post-minicamp cites what many Rams fans already suspected

When it comes to following along with the comings and goings of the Los Angeles Rams, the offseason seems to drag on. It's not as though the NFL does not intersperse newsworthy events in the offseason. From the annual NFL Free Agency market gold rush to the annual NFL Draft and even to OTAs, minicamp, and training camp, every NFL team has something to talk about at all times.

Perhaps it's who is doing the talking?

One NFL Insider, analyst, and expert whom I never seem to get enough of listening to is Brian Baldinger. Affectionately known as Baldy, he has made his trademark NFL analyses by citing examples of complex plays, but focusing on them with simply layman's terminology that allows even the newest and most casual NFL fans to enjoy his presentations..

But it's a particularly sweet experience to hear the master break down one of the LA Rams' young players and explain all of the action on the physical line of scrimmage.

When now-retired Miami Dolphins OT Terron Armstead names Rams rookie outside linebacker Jared Verse as one of the NFL defenders that Armstead is happy never to have to block again, Brian Baldinger sat up and took notice. He knows Terron Armstead and knows just how good of a blocker he is.

He also knows that Armstead does not praise opponents just out of the kindness of his heart. Terron Armstead is a fierce competitor, a guy whose respect you must earn. Rams OLB Jared Verse did exactly that.

For a change, Brian Baldinger is not introducing concepts that Rams fans have not already suspected. After all, Jared Verse was honored with the 2024 NFL DROY award.
