The Los Angeles Rams might have lost one standout wide receiver this offseason but they gained an absolute workhorse in Davante Adams. The hope is that Adams can fill the void of Cooper Kupp and still healthy, something Kupp struggled to do over the last few years.

Adams spent his 2024 season with the Raiders and Jets, getting traded to New York ahead of the deadline to reunite with his old Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers. While the Jets still stunk even after Adams joined the team, he performed well, racking up 67 receptions for 854 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 starts.

If the Rams can get that kind of production from Adams in 11 games (and hopefully he'll go well over the 1,000-yard mark in the six additional games), that'd be a massive win for the team. Clearly, the organization is expecting big things from Adams and gave him a hero's welcome in a recent team meeting.

Sean McVay couldn't stop praising Davante Adams in recent Rams meeting

During the meeting, McVay talked about how the Rams should be thrilled that Adams is a part of the team now and then showed clips of him terrorizing defenses. Throughout these clips, the camera cut to Matthew Stafford clearly looking smitten at the new receiver he has at his disposal.

"This is going to make us better collectively on both sides, all right, being able to add a great player like Davante," McVay said while heaping praise onto his newest receiver.

The Rams might have lost Kupp in the offseason, parting ways with him and then seeing him link up with the Seahawks, but Adams will ensure their offense doesn't skip a beat. Adams, Tutu Atwell, and Puka Nacua gives the Rams three solid starting wide receivers and hopefully, that's enough to get them back to where they know they can be -- In the Super Bowl.
