Another week, another win, and another unfortunate injury to a key offensive contributor. That seems to be the pattern for the 7-2 Los Angeles Rams this season, doesn't it? While the fans have been white-knuckling the 2025 season over the availability of elite wide receiver Puka Nacua, they must now deal with the uncertainty of wide receiver Davante Adams.

Adams was injured in the Week 10 win over the 6-4 San Francisco 49ers and did not return to the game. He reportedly injured his back, and now fans must wrestle with the fear that the team's top touchdown-scorer may be limited in Week 11:

Initial reports seem to keep the flame of hope lit. Adams suffered an injury to his back, but the team is not pessimistic about his availability for a vital Week 11 contest against the 7-2 Seattle Seahawks. That is crucial, as Adams leads the team with nine touchdowns in nine gams.

His injury could not have come at a worse time.

Davante Adams is already among Rams legendary company

The impact of Adams on this offense cannot be measured in traditional methods. So far, he has amassed just 568 receiving yards in nine games. Likewise, he has hauled in just 42 of 78 passes for a catch percentage of 53.8 percent. But he has been on fire of late.

In his last three games, he has hauled in 16-of-23 passes for 172 yards and six touchdowns. That's a 70 percent catch rate and an average of two touchdowns per game. And the accomplishment embeds him among some very elite company:

After the game, head coach Sean McVay suggested that Adams could have returned if the situation had warranted it. But with LA cruising with a commanding lead and another excellent showing of 13 personnel, the team can finally give key receivers the necessary bench time to ensure healthy recoveries from game day.

Adams is far too valuable to this team right now. He will be crucial for Los Angeles the rest of the way. But what I love about this offense right now is the emergence of tight ends as significant contributors.

Even as elite wide receiver Puka Nacua and now Davante Adams have struggled with durability this season, the transformation to enlist other contributors has not only sustained the offensive proficiency but has enhanced it.

The offense has been ridiculously effective at scoring points. But to ensure it can score against a stingy Seattle Seahawks defense in Week 11, the team must count on Adams once more to find the end zone.

As always, thanks for reading.
