The LA Rams (7-6) must now pivot from a Sunday afternoon shootout at SoFi Stadium to their Week 15 opponent, the San Francisco 49ers (6-7). And if any team can leverage any exposed weakness by the Rams roster, it's their NFC West Division rivals, the 49ers. It's not a game that the Rams can take lightly, and they almost certainly know this. The 49ers were throttled by the Buffalo Bills in Week 13 by a score of 35-10. The Rams then defeated the Bills by a score of 44-42.

Now the Rams must face the same 49ers, a team that they have beaten the last two times these teams have faced off against one another.

This is a short week for the LA Rams, a team that must travel to play on Thursday Night Football. As a result, there is no time to lick wounds or even give aching joints or muscles a day of rest. This is a week of wrapping and taping up all the boo-boos and getting back onto the football field.

Thursday Night Football games are ingenious marketing tools for the NFL. The league has created another prime time television broadcast each week by paring off one game to be scheduled for Thursday night. The NFL gets an incredible package of premium games to seel to the highest bidder. The players must scramble to prepare to play that short week game, but turn around to get the benefit of a mini-bye after the game.

As far as the LA Rams roster, the players and coaches could stand to benefit from a couple of days of relaxation to recharge for the final push of the 2024 NFL season. Yet, there is still the matter of patching up those banged-up players in a short week. The Rams infirmary filled up quickly, as both starting cornerback Cobie Durant as well as wide receiver Demarcus Robinson emerged from Week 14 with injuries.

So let's read the latest updates regarding Rams injuries, and discuss the impact of starters who may or may not be able to suit up to face the San Francisco 49ers on the road this week.
