How do you feel about the LA Rams now? After an impressive Week 8 win, the team has not only finally beaten an NFC North Division opponent, but also won its second consecutive game. With the win, the Rams have now defeated two NFC teams, ensuring that they will no longer come out on the short end of tie-breakers when the time comes to decide the proper seeding for the 2025 NFL Playoffs.

At least, not against the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings.

The Rams, at one point a 1-4 team, had fallen to the dregs of NFL Playoff hopefuls. The team's chances had fallen to the likelihood of hitting on a scratch lottery ticket. And with the team facing determined opponents, the path back to postseason relevance seemed like a steep climb. But never count these Rams out.

Now, after a two-game winning streak, and an impressive victory over the now 5-2 Minnesota Vikings, the Rams are not only within striking distance of contending for the NFC West Division title, but this team is taking strides to the 2025 NFL Playoffs.

Per playoffstatus.com, after the Rams' Thursday Night Football win, they are back to a 32 percent chance of appearing in Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Playoffs. That is a far cry better than the 12 percent chance of appearing just three weeks ago. Best of all, positive momentum is on their side.

This team is finding ways to win, and doing it ways that are both impressive and surprising. The Rams not only defeated the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 30-20, but the offensive line held one of the most dominating defensive fronts (24 QB sacks in just six games) to zero quarterback sacks. That allowed Stafford to feel comfortable enough to hurl four touchdown passes in the game. He had only thrown for three touchdown passes all season prior to that scoring festival.

While no team remaining on the Rams schedule fears playing them just yet, that could change. Having strung together two consecutive wins over the Las Vegas Raiders and the Minnesota Vikings respectively, this team can no longer be viewed as a sure-fire win to any team.

Similar to 2023, the team has emerged from the BYE week with winning on its mind. Instead of ripping of seven wins after a 3-6 start, this team has already ripped off two wins after a 1-4 start. Stay tuned, as this could get very interesting.
