The LA Rams 2025 NFL Draft continues to grow in importance for the team as the losses continue to mount. Right now, the team has nearly as much probability to land the top overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft as to compete in the 2025 NFL Playoffs.

Let that sink in for a moment.

With growing importance, the onus is upon us to not only examine the LA Rams but also to consider what may await the team in the upcoming 2025 rookie class. As the team continues to play out the games on the Rams' schedule, the order of the draft will change dramatically. This mock draft is not intended to predict the order of the upcoming draft, nor to set expectations of how the 2025 NFL Draft board will be set by the Rams or by any NFL team.

We employed the Pro Football Network 2025 NFL Draft simulator. The reason for doing so is two-fold. Initially, this method ensures no bias in terms of how the draft unfolds. In essence, it eliminates any possibility of subjectively impacting which prospect is available when the Rams make a selection. Similarly, this method eliminates the need to research all 32 teams and determine their draft needs and priority of drafting to address those needs.

Just for fun, I also allowed the team to consider trades. Since the Rams appear to have multiple needs in the 2025 NFL Draft, it seemed prudent to allow the front office to multiply picks, particularly to replace the team's Round 2 pick traded away in the 2024 NFL Draft.

I also want to add some caution to skeptics. Because the Rams are without a Round 2 draft pick, I was open to trading back in Round 1 to add that Day 2 selection. As games continue to be played out, the names of the trade partners are less critical than the trade offers. It matters not when the Rams select in each round. Rather, the goal is to get a sampling of how talented prospects who will join the team may be.

Okay, let's see how this all shakes out.
