Sean McVay is the last person Jerry Jones wants near Micah Parsons chaos

When it comes to the Los Angeles Rams, their reputation precedes them among other NFL teams and especially NFL players. It hasn't been easy to build that reputation, but it has been handled year after year, one personnel move at a time. It's not lost on Rams fans that the best way to add value to an NFL team is to trade next to nothing to the Rams for a player, and then flip that player to another NFL team for a much better return.

That's the strategy used by the Tennessee Titans when flipping ILB Ernest Jones IV from the Rams to the Seattle Seahawks.

Even I was dismayed, walking away from the transaction, believing that the Los Angeles Rams had been bamboozled again. But it's a strategic pattern, a matter of the team investing is something which other teams fail to perceive or follow suit with. The Rams are not a victim of a Ponzi scheme.

This is a team that is planting seeds of integrity in an industry that seems to have lost its way. And now, the LA Rams, with riverboat gambler GM Les Snead, and NFL whisperer HC Sean McVay, are bringing all of that street credibility next week to face the Dallas Cowboys, at the epicenter of their chaos of contract negotiations with elite pass rusher Micah Parsons.

A storm that the Rams have walked into so many times before.

Rams can offer win-win solution to Jerry Jones vs. Micah Parsons

Dallas Cowboys Micah Parsons is the sort of player who is fearless, a veteran version of Rams star outside linebacker Jared Verse. This is the same Micah Parsons who professed that he would become better than Rams living legend Aaron Donald. But he is more than a trash-talker. He is a consistent force to be reckoned with.

And he is only 26 years old.

His social media account shares how far apart he has grown from the Cowboys right now. An elite NFL player in the prime of his life, a player whose loyalty has run deep in his veins, has become so frustrated with the team that he wants to part ways now.

And here comes the LA Rams. McVay is the last person the Cowboys need to show up amidst this Micah Parsons chaos

"The Rams shouldn't wade into that conflict," is something the Rams have heard repeatedly since uniting Les Snead with Sean McVay. And yet, the Rams have strung together blockbuster trades frequently by daring to do what other teams have not.

Would the Rams have won Super Bowl LVI if they had not rushed to negotiate with the Jacksonville Jaguars over All-Pro defensive back Jalen Ramsey? Would the same Rams have won that Super Bowl if they had not done the same when the Detroit Lions discovered that veteran starting quarterback Matthew Stafford demanded to be traded?

When a player demands to be traded, it's a bat signal to the Rams to suit up and race to the scene. It even happens when NFL players are tarnished and forlorn, forgotten and tossed aside.

The Rams rescue frustrated NFL players. If you doubt me, just ask Jalen Ramsey, A'Shawn Robinson, Davante Adams, Baker Mayfield, Carson Wentz, and many more. And now, think to yourself.

The Carolina Panthers shut down trade offers from the Rams for then DE Brian Burns. Have the Rams forgotten? Or have the Cosmos somehow spun a new blockbuster trade scenario into the tapestry? Is this simply one more seismic blockbuster trade about to shake the foundations of the NFL, queuing up?

If I'm a Rams fan, I have to hope yes. If I'm a Cowboys fan, I'm scrambling to lobby hard with the Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, to get a deal done now. McVay can be incredibly persuasive. He met Matthew Stafford on vacation at Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, and Stafford became a Rams QB. He reached out to Davante Adams when Adams was in Japan, and Adams is now a Rams WR.

Don't let McVay say hello to Parsons at Oxnard, California. There's no telling how that may turn out.

As always, thanks for reading.
