The LA Rams enter Week 12 with a record of 5-5. While the team is facing an uphill battle for the NFL Playoffs as a wild card team, the fact that the Rams are just one game behind the Arizona Cardinals for the top spot in the NFC Western Division is very encouraging. But for how long?

It's that time of year where the outcome of a single game can push fan interest from the 2025 NFL Playoffs to the 2025 NFL Draft, and back again. Winning means postseason, losing means trying again next year. Unlike some NFL teams that are simply jockeying for the highest possible playoff berth, the Rams are still slugging it out to improve their record enough to be among the top seven seeded teams in the NFC.

The 2024 ESPN Playoff machine is up, and that means that everyone has the opportunity to forecast how well the Rams might do this season. But if your forecast ends up with the Rams out of the postseason, what is there left for you to cheer for?

For starters, any future prediction or projection is not something that anyone knows for certain. So you can take comfort in the fact that the way you see things may not be the way events play out. While that is true whether you have an optimistic or pessimistic view of the future, it's doubly so when a pessimistic view of tomorrow is tough to shake.

But even if you are soundly convinced that the LA Rams are not heading for the 2025 NFL Playoffs at the end of the season, you can still enjoy the fact that the Rams success with recent drafts could carry over to the 2025 NFL Draft.

So why not pause the 2024 analysis to peer into what can happen during the Rams 2025 NFL Draft? It won't take long if we adhere to a three-round mock draft. To make it interesting, I will use the Pro Football Network online draft simulator, as it allows trades.

Let's get right to it:
