The Los Angeles Rams have their first international contest in five years, as the team has confirmed the rumors of the team traveling to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. As rumored, the Rams will be playing that game in Week 7, which falls on Sunday, October 19, 2025. As you may recall from our earlier report of the rumor, Wembley, England, is a full eight hours ahead in real time. That means that a game that is scheduled to be played at 4:00 pm local time will be televised at 8:00 am PT. That creates many challenges for the Rams to face in the heart of their 2025 NFL Schedule.

And this is just the first game confirmed.

The Rams last traveled that far to compete in London, England, in 2019, when the Rams traveled to face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8 on October 27, 2019. The Rams won that thrilling contest by a score of 24-10, lifting the team to a record of 5-3, while dropping the Bengals to a winless 0-8 start. It was that game that truly showcased third-year WR Cooper Kupp as a future NFL elite receiver, as he hauled in seven of ten passes for 220 receiving yards and a touchdown.

As this will be WR Puka Nacua's third season, the stage is set to see how he measures up against the performance of his former mentor. But this won't be Nacua vs the Jaguars' secondary. The Rams have an intriguing cast of offensive weapons that includes Nacua and veteran WRs Davante Adams, Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittington, and even rookie WR Konata Mumpfield. The Rams also have rookie TE Terrance Ferguson and RB Jarquez Hunter to debut as well.

What do we know about the LA Rams schedule so far?

While we will know the entire 2025 NFL Schedule in a matter of hours now, the 2025 Rams schedule has not been revealed as much as other NFL teams. Several NFL teams have already confirmed multiple games on their schedule. But here is what we know about the Rams' schedule so far.

Please note that while the NFL only schedules 17 games, the one BYE Week has not been scheduled yet either. That gives all 32 teams an 18-week schedule.

If the NFL schedulers pattern the Rams schedule in 2025 as they had in 2019, the Rams will face a road game in Week 6 on the East Coast, travel to London, England to play the Week 7 game at Wembley Stadium, and then get their BYE week to fall on Week 8. That is about as favorable a schedule as the Rams can hope for at this point, as it will give the team ample opportunity to recover and reset from a grueling amount of travel and time zone chaos.

It will also clear two of nine road games off the schedule for the Rams.

Since this is an odd year, the Rams will play eight home games while traveling for nine games. We reviewed all 17 game opponents recently and found that, based on the Rams' current Strength of Schedule (SOS), this year's schedule is quite favorable. But that is only in theory.

In 2019, the Rams rose to a 5-3 record after defeating the Bengals in London. But the Rams could only manage to win four more games out of the remaining eight on the schedule that year. That resulted in the first non-playoff season for the LA Rams in HC Sean McVay's tenure.

One game down, 16 more games to go. Let's hope the NFL schedulers are kind to the Rams this year.

As always, thanks for reading.
