Reason No. 3: Schedule in 2024 isn't *that* hard

Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis put together a ranking of the schedules in the NFL for 2024:

"With odds released for all 32 NFL teams, we are now able to calculate NFL Strength of Schedule using projected win totals from Vegas oddsmakers."

Warren Sharp

Using those projected win totals, teams like the Falcons, Chargers, and Bears have the easiest schedules in the NFL for 2024. Squads like the Steelers, Patriots, and Browns will play the toughest schedules in the NFL. Fortunately for the Los Angeles Rams, their schedule is currently slated to be 17th-easiest for this coming season.

So by most measures, it's an average schedule. Sure, it'd be nice to have an easier schedule, but having one that isn't among the hardest in the NFL is also a huge advantage. NFC teams like the 49ers, Packers, Giants, Lions, Cowboys, and Vikings will all have tougher schedules than the LA Rams in 2024.

And really all of those teams outside of the Giants are going to be firmly in the playoff mix, so this could present a slight advantage for LA. Here is a list of the Rams opponents for the 2024 NFL Season:

Home: Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders

Away: Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, New York Jets

Not too easy, but not that hard. With the team being as well-coached as they are, the Rams should be able to take advantage of this schedule in 2024.
