The Los Angeles Rams may be in a position to add at the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline. Let's look at three moves they could potentially make. The Rams were a surprise team in 2023, winning 10 games and earning a playoff spot. This roster oozes young talent, and the feeling is that GM Les Snead again had another strong offseason.

The Rams may be firmly in a position to add a top player or two from selling teams at the deadline, and could make yet another Super Bowl run. Let's cover three way too early trade deadline moves the LA Rams could make when it rolls around in the 2024 NFL Season.

3 way too early trade deadline moves the LA Rams can make in the 2024 season
Trade for TE Hunter Henry

Give me New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry, please. The New England Patriots re-signed Hunter Henry this offseason for some reason. It's clear that the Patriots are rebuilding, so re-signing an aging tight end was not the best move, but they did. However, his contract is moveable, and depending on how bad the Pats are in 2024, they could be huge sellers at the trade deadline.

Rams starting tight end Tyler Higbee tore his ACL and MCL during the postseason, so he might not be ready for the start of the regular season. Even if Higbee returns, it may take him a while to get back to 100 percent, so I would advocate for sending a late-round draft pick to the Patriots to acquire Hunter Henry, who is kind of in the same tier as Higbee as a good-not-great receiving tight end.

But he'd be another weapon for Rams QB Matthew Stafford to throw to for a late-season push in 2024. The Rams also have Colby Parkinson at TE as well. He was a 2024 free agent addition.

Trade for CB Marshon Lattimore

The New Orleans Saints took DB Kool-Aid McKinstry in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, and also have other young cornerbacks. This could mean that long-time Saints CB Marshon Lattimore could be playing his final games as a member of the Saints. He was taken in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The well-known story here is that the Saints wanted Patrick Mahomes at the 11th pick, but were jumped by the Kansas City Chiefs, so at 11, the Saints decided on Lattimore, who has been a very good cornerback for most of his NFL career. The LA Rams did re-make their secondary a bit, signing Tre White, Darious Williams, and Kamren Curl.

It's now a much better unit on paper, but it could not hurt to add Lattimore to the mix if the Saints were to be sellers in 2024.

Trade WR Cooper Kupp to the Baltimore Ravens

There has to be real talk about the LA Rams maybe not being quite as good as we think in 2024 and perhaps even being in a position to sell off a player or two. Could veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp find his way onto a new team in 2024? I'd hate to see this happen, but the Rams did have quite the brutal season in 2022, so it's not out of the question that 2024 could face similarly devastating injuries that would deplete the team's roster.

In that event, it would be smart for GM Les Snead to offload some big contracts and fetch a draft pick for a player or two, and as much as Cooper Kupp has meant to the franchise, I could see a possibility where, in a lost season, the Rams send Kupp to a team who'd be in more of a position to contend.

The Baltimore Ravens need WR help every year it seems, and adding Kupp to that offense could make life a lot easier for Lamar Jackson. Coud the LA Rams actually trade someone like Cooper Kupp at the 2024 NFL Trade deadline?
