The LA Rams may not reveal their intentions when it comes to the NFL Draft, as learning who the team is meeting with before the draft is tough information to come by. After all, the team seldom has Round 1 picks, which never seems to hurt the team when it comes to drafting NFL-caliber rookies. But when it comes to leaving a trail of breadcrumbs to the rest of the NFL over who will, and will likely not, make the roster, the team is an open book.
You don't need to read tea leaves or consult a mystiques scrying around a crystal ball. All you need to do is pay attention as to who is not playing for the team in preseason games. While I won't say that it's a 100 percent certainty, it's almost as certain that ice forming on water proves that the temperature is at or under 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
And so, it's the second half of preseason Game 3, the final preseason game for both the Houston Texans and the Los Angeles Rams. For many players, this is the last chance to put up a great performance on video footage to either persuade Rams coaches to decide to keep the player on the team, or to attract interest from another NFL team.
But for some players, the Rams have seen enough. And those players have learned that they have made the roster by the decision to sit them for Game 3. That knowledge is almost a sure-fire harbinger to the players who are sitting that they have made the team.
Okay, so who is sitting, and as a result, have made the Rams 53-man roster? Let's find out.
