5 first rounders the LA Rams should consider who won't replace Matthew Stafford

Option II: Rushing the passer has never looked better
Even as the LA Rams had loaded up on three rookie outside linebackers in the 2023 NFL Draft, Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner may be so tempting that the Rams could consider revisiting the position. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 245 pounds, Turner (not to be confused with Kobie Turner) possesses the length that always seems to terrorize opposing quarterbacks.
Much like the addition of OT Joe Alt to complete the left side of the Rams offensive line for years to come, adding a complete-package like outside linebacker Dallas Turner to the LA Rams pass rush ensures that the Rams outside linebacker duo of Byron Young and Dallas Turner will haunt the nights of quarterbacks and offensive coordinators for years to come.
Turner has spent three seasons in college football, and in each season has demonstrated the difficult ability to convert so much of his raw potential into on-field production. As a result, this young man now sits atop many draft boards as the top edge rusher in the 2024 NFL Draft, and for good reason.
In three seasons, Alabama's Dallas Turner has racked up 106 tackles, 28.5 tackles for a loss, and 19.5 quarterback sacks. He even has two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one pass defensed. Turner accomplishes this with his relentless pursuit of the quarterback, the long wingspan that allows him to fend off blockers while giving him an extra Stretch Armstrong reach to grab the quarterback as he rushes past, and his amazing strength to bring down the ball carrier.
