4. The LA Rams could sign DL Michael Brockers
Why not bring back a familiar face to help add some veteran defensive line depth? Michael Brockers played nine years with the Rams from 2012 to 2020 before he was unceremoniously traded to the Detroit Lions ahead of the 2021 season.
Brockers clearly isn't the same player he was in his prime. The former first-round pick has just one sack over the last two seasons and played just six games in 2022 after being rendered a healthy scratch for much of the year.
Still, for a Rams team that parted ways with Greg Gaines and A'Shawn Robinson this offseason, Brockers could provide some much-needed defensive line depth.
Brockers could compete with young players like Kobie Turner, Bobby Brown, Jonah Williams, and Earnest Brown for snaps in an unproven defensive-line rotation.
3. The LA Rams could sign LB Myles Jack
Rashaan Evans isn't the only notable linebacker who remains a free agent. Former Jacksonville Jaguars star linebacker is still available on the open market after spending last year in Pittsburgh.
Much like Brockers, Jack isn't the same player he was in his prime, but he's still one of the most athletic and explosive linebackers in football. The Rams could use some more speed in their linebacker corps.
For as promising as Ernest Jones is, he's never been the most athletic linebacker. Jack could prove to be a solid complement to Jones and give the Rams extra depth alongside Rozeboom and Hummel.
It's hard to imagine Jack will cost much at this stage of the offseason, either. This is a move I'd really like to see the Rams make.
