III: Rookie Kicker Joshua Karty is THAT guy

When it came to field goals, the LA Rams ended the 2023 NFL season in 30th place. Only the New York Giants and New England Patriots had less accuracy with their field goals in 2023, and that is not something for this team to be proud of. In terms of the NFC West Division, the next team in accuracy was the Seattle Seahawks, a team that came in 22nd in the Division.

The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers rounded out the division at 18th-place and 19th-place respectively.

Knowing that success in 2024 needs contributions from all three phases of the game, the front office drafted Stanford kicker,Joshua Karty. Karty joins the competition at kicker in 2024 with returning 2023 kicker Tanner Brown. While the Rams may not have had an accurate kicker last season, the team did go on to finish the season with an impressive 10-7 record.

How much better will the team perform in 2024 with a solid kicker? That is what the team hopes to find out.

Kicking success in the NFL requires two things: Nerves of steel, and practic morning, noon and night. Joshua Karty checks the boxes, and has already been noted by several camp reports as being Mr. Automatic. His three-two-kick exercises run like an assembly line and he just keeps kicking.

The Rams offense will hopefully need Karty to put up extra points over field goals this season. But if early reports are any indication, Karty can kick either with ease.
