(1) Rams will win NFC West Division Title

There is so much over the top hype regarding the San Francisco 49ers this year, a team that has won the NFC West Division Title in the past two seasons, that it only makes sense for casual NFL analysts to anoint them as the favorite to win the NFC West for the third consecutive season and then call it a day.

But that is a cheap and lazy way to project the 2024 NFL season.

Despite starting the season with a record of 3-6, the LA Rams finished just two games behind the 49ers in the final standings. Oh, and did you recall that backup quarterback Carson Wentz led the Rams junior varsity squad against the 49ers varsity squad, and won the season finale? That 21-20 final score not only was a win for the Rams, but it halted a regular season losing streak that lasted for nine games and carried over from the 2019 NFL season through the final game of the 2023 NFL season.

Still, if 2023 taught us anything, it certainly taught fans to believe in this team. The group rose from the ashes of a 3-6 start in 2023 to end the year at 10-7. Had the team started out 5-4, the team would have won the NFC West. The roster certainly had the talent to win two of those early games had the dominoes fallen the right way.

Just a bit of luck. That's all it takes this year. The Rams feel lucky in 2024.

And as always, thanks for rea
