With training camp on the horizon, let's take a final look at a very impressive 16-player UDFA group for the Rams.

16 more UDFAs join the team

The Rams followed up drafting a very promising 2024 NFL Draft class by leaping into the fray and signing another 16 quite promising undrafted college players after the draft concluded. If you want to get a quick and superficial description of each player signed, check out our 2024 UDFA tracker which has a paragraph or two for each player.

While fans do not typically give much thought to undrafted players, we have already noted that the Rams have found starters at key positions from college players after the draft. We made notes in 2021 that adding LT Alaric Jackson was a very big deal for the team. We also took note in 2020 of how versatile DT Michael Hoecht could be on the roster.

So starters can be found anywhere.

In 2024, the team has signed 16 undrafted free agents from the NCAA, many of whom could be in line for more significant roles for the team in 2024 and beyond. They are:

Of course, names mean very little to the overall depth chart in 2024. Even the primary positions played by the rookies offer limited value, as we have no reference point in the above list from which to assess their chances of sticking with the team. While we will feature each rookie player throughout training camp with a more indepth view of their role, chances, and competitive nature, we can add to their introductions by grouping these new players in their most likely positional role as we add some more information about them.
