Rams have 2 WR superstars means double-double trouble-trouble

There are those who view the outstanding rookie season of WR Puka Nacua, shattering the NFL Rookie WR records, and only see regression to a less productive role in 2024. Perhaps he barely clears 1000 receiving yards. Perhaps he only scores four touchdowns. In any case, the higher his rookie numbers climb, the further his second year numbers fall.

Okay. That's one opinion. And everyone is entitled to that opinion.

But there are two sides to every coin. Has anyone considered just how effective Puka Nacua can be now that he has confidence, experience, and the attention of his coaches? I mean, in the Wild Card Round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs, Puka Nacua caught nine of 10 passes (90 percent catch rate) for 181 yards and a touchdown.

That was a high-pressure game against extremely adverse odds, and he literally put on arguably the best performance of his rookie season. In fact, as the season progressed, he seemed to be more consistent and effective. Now, he returns for his second season. Could he be that guy who plays even better in 2024?

In a word? Yes.
