After this Rams rookie's outstanding performance, all I can say is: Geaux Beaux!

Looks like Rams GM Les Snead found another starter on Day 3 of the NFL Draft. And this one could be vital to the team's success.

LA Rams GM Les Snead may or may not have found another offensive weapon on Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft. But one thing is clear, he has discovered another overlooked and underestimated NFL starter whose upside is rising with every snap of the football.

I loved the Rams selection of Arkansas rookie prospect IOL Beaux Limmer with the 217th overall pick in the NFL Draft, and have loved every moment this young man has played in horns since that moment. Some young players exude 'future NFL star,' and Limmer is certainly one of the young men who fit that category to me.

Beaux Limmer is another Day 3 'find' for Snead.

If there is such a thing as a 'perfect fit' in the NFL, Beaux Limmer is exactly that. He is steamroller, an impenetrable wall, a circus strongman, and a guy who eats roofing nails for breakfast. He is strong enough to stymie the strongest and biggest nose tackles in the NFL. Best of all, he is relentless, he is the type of offensive lineman who blocks one player, pivots to block another, and then runs downfield just hoping to find more defenders to block.

The only challenge when he arrived to the team was the fact that he was backing up second-year starting center Steve Avila. So his chances of playing this season seemed, remote.

Still, I was confident in him. The cream always rises to the top. And once Beaux Limmer took the football field, it would be next to impossible to bench him for another player. Here we are, heading into Week 4, and that is exactly how the script is playing out.

Just check out Beaux Limmer's Week 3 performance against the formidable 49ers defensive front:

There is a lot of work to do with this team. And no, I'm not anointing Limmer as an All-Pro just yet. The number of games he has played is ridiculously small. But he has faced tremendous adversity so far. The Rams have yet to start the same offensive line configuration in two consecutive games. And it was clear in Week 3 that Stafford was helping his rookie center calling protections, and checking out of the original play.

Limmer has a ways to got. But he has played 151 offensive snaps and has yet to allow a quarterback sack or commit a penalty. He is starting on the Rams offensive line. And he is only going to get better, much much better. All I can say is: Geaux Beaux!

And as always, thanks for reading.
