On the official LA Rams website, only OLB Jared Verse, OLB Brennan Jackson, and DB Kamren Kinchens remain unsigned. That means that the team has inked all 16 collegiate free agents and seven of ten drafted rookies. While all of this has been expected, it does lend itself to more exciting matters. But first, let's recap the number and names of the players who agreed to terms with the team after the 2024 NFL Draft. As their NFL season, and careers, are about to begin:

We've done our part to introduce the new faces from the 2024 NFL Draft even as the team signed 16 more players after the draft. Now is when the rubber hits the pavement. The training camp competition is about to get underway. This is the portion of the season that is somewhat of a black box to fans. Even those who steal away from work to get a glimpse at players and team chemistry, almost all of the 'good' stuff is handled away from fans and not reported by media who are in attendance.

Defensive line

The Rams defensive line is going to be where a lot of the action is in this year's training camp. Now down to four players, the front office more than doubled that number by adding two rookie DLs during the 2024 NFL Draft, then signing three rookie DLs after the draft. Now comes the difficult task of sorting everyone out.

It's almost a certainty that NT/DT Kobie Turner, NT Bobby Brown, and DE Desjuan Johnson will comprise the backbone of the DL rotation in 2024. But DTs Larrell Murchison, Braden Fiske and Tyler Davis will almost certainly factor into the rotation as well. Then you have the highly competitive players like DT David Olajiga, DT Tuli Letuligasenoa, and DT Cory Durden and you can see that this is going to be a slobberknocker of a training camp.
