As more cuts occur across the NFL, the LA Rams have to be tempted to place a waiver claim soon

Some offensive players worth considering too
Defense is not the only name of the game, as the Miami Dolphins are relasing versatile running back Myles Gaskin. While he never quite 'made it,' with the Dolphins offense, Gaskin is just 26 years old, stands 5-foot-10 and weighs 194 pounds, and has the versatility to put up 500+ yards in a single season as either a rusher or a receiver.
While running backs are deflated right now, Gaskin is an ideal weapon for the Rams offense. The trouble is, does the team have any more room for a running back?
Perhaps the better option is to consider LA Chargers QB Max Duggan. While just a rookie, the 6-foot-2 210-pound quarterback had a decent preseason and is certainly going to draw some interest. The question is not whether the Rams should submit a claim for a quarterback to back up starting veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford. Rather the question is which quarterback should the LA Rams submit a waiver claim for, because . . .
The Dallas Cowboys continue to be projected as cutting quarterback Will Grier after trading for QB Trey Lance. Grier basically auditioned for his next team in preseason, and stole the show:
And so, the LA Rams may cut their roster beyond the 53-player limit if any of these players tickle their fancy. And Matthew Stafford would benefit from having one more young quarterback to mentor this season.
From what I've seen, the Rams have a number of not-ready-for-prime-time players, and could be vulnerable to a last second upgrade by one or more of these players.
Stay Tuned . . .
