Despite losing to the Baltimore Ravens last week, the Los Angeles Rams might just be the hottest team in the NFL. They went from being a basement dweller to being on the verge of returning to the NFC Playoffs.

In Week 15, they return home to host the Washington Commanders, who will be coming off their BYE week.

Commanders vs. Rams key players to watch

Washington Commanders

Sam Howell: Is Same Howell the guy in Washington for the coming years? He likely is, but he still has a few more games this season to pad his resume. He's fifth in the NFL in passing yards per game, averaging 266.6 air yards per contest. If there's one area of the game he needs to improve, it's turnovers. He's tied with Josh Allen for the most interceptions in the NFL with 14.

Los Angeles Rams

Cooper Kupp: Despite missing part of the season due to an injury Cooper Kupp remains one of the best receivers in the NFL and is coming off a strong performance where he hauled in eight receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown against one of the best secondary's in the Ravens. Now, he can tee-off against a terrible Commanders defense.

Commanders vs. Rams prediction and pick

The Rams have scored over 30 points against the two best defenses in the NFL in back-to-back weeks. That's ultra-impressive. They're now 10th in the NFL in Net Yards per Play and fourth in that stat over their last three games.

Now, they get to face one of the worst defenses in the league in the Commanders. Washington is 30th in Net Yards per Play, 32nd in opponent EPA per Play, and 32nd in opponent dropback EPA. If your secondary ranks dead last in opponent dropback EPA, you're going to have a long day against this Rams pass attack.

I'll lay the points with the Rams in this NFC showdown.
