Does Rams Wagner release mean these 5 unthinkable moves happen?

Unthinkable move V: Cut Brian Allen
The LA Rams need to free up cap space, but they need to infuse durability into the starting lineup as well. Durability and LA Rams offensive center Brian Allen simply are not phrases you often read in the same sentence. Over the past four seasons, the LA Rams intended to make Brian Allen their starting center. He missed seven games in 2019 due to injury. He missed 16 games in 2020 due to injury. He missed one game in 2021 due to injury but left almost instantly from two other games. And he missed 10 games in 2022 due to injury.
He's suited up for 32 games out of a possible 66 games, and even from that amount, he was injured and left in the first quarter in two other games. In the grand scheme of managing the LA Rams roster, I simply believe that the guy is too great of a risk to start. Unfortunately, he is a very competitive player who may not be warm and fuzzy to the idea of being benched.
Allen can play, sometimes
Per Spotrac.com, a pre-June 1 release of C Brian Allen saves the Rams just over $2 million. But it also forces the Rams to think about a new starting offensive center. And curiously, I'm not alone in this line of thinking. Pro Football Focus writer Brad Spielberger lists Brian Allen as the most likely player to be released by the Rams this offseason.
I think that Brian Allen is a determined NFL offensive lineman who is great at short-duration assignments to start on the offensive line. Two to Four starts should not be a problem. Injuries seem to begin stacking up for the guy if he tries to play a prolonged number of games. In fact, in his NFL career of five NFL seasons, he has not had a full season without missing starts. That is above and beyond the many games when he was so banged up that he should have been benched. I love his competitiveness. I respect his determination. But i dread him starting for the LA Rams this season.
