The 2023 NFL season is getting closer daily, and LA Rams fans have been flooding training camp with excitement and anticipation. This is always a fun time of year for Rams fans as we witness players compete for positions on the 53-man roster and see how the veterans are shaping into preseason form.

This is also the time of year when many fans get their brand-new team merchandise for the upcoming season. Jerseys, shirts, and hats will be flying off the shelves in the team stores at training camps, but if you were waiting for the new sideline caps, you might be disappointed. The Rams sideline caps this year have not exactly been met with a warm reception.

Most fans will look for a different option rather than the 2023 sideline cap

The NFL has released a few versions of their new sideline caps; just like years ago, they could have designed them with a better look.

You can choose between low profile, flat brim, or flex hats, each with a few different designs. One of the designs is with the teams' main logo front and center with both the teams' two primary colors. Another design they have that looks the best is the historic flex hat. It takes you back to the teams' throwback days with their throwback logo and colors.

The most disappointing hat is the flat brim 59Fifty fitted cap. It has the primary team logo and the NFL logo on the face of the hat, with the team's primary colors all around the hat in the front and back. It looks weird, and having the NFL logo on the face was not a good choice. I will be interested to see what other fans think, but I will look for alternatives rather than this year's sideline caps.

Looks like the fashion police will be making some more arrests at LA Rams headquarters this year.
