Edge blockbuster and 4 other trades Rams can't refuse in 2023 NFL Draft

Rams trade back in Round 2 for a huge haul
The LA Rams may enter the 2023 NFL Draft with 11 picks, but the fact that their roster has 46 open roster spots means that if someone calls the Rams during this year's draft and offers more picks, the Rams will likely pick up the phone and listen. One such team that could be interested in doing so is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
While the Buccaneers do hold the 19th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, that pick could already be earmarked for a rookie quarterback or some other vital positional need. But the Buccaneers may have multiple urgent needs in the 2023 NFL Draft, and addressing those needs effectively may prompt them to trade up from, the middle of Round 2 to the top of the round to grab a player they covet.
Plundering the Buccaneers
To do so may put them in business with the LA Rams on Day 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft. So what might that trade look like?
Per the 2023 NFL Draft value chart, the Rams get a small bonus premium from the Buccaneers for trading back, and pick up a third pick in Round 3 as well. Meanwhile, moving up could position the Buccaneers to grab a rookie prospect who they had graded in the first round who fell to 36 unexpectedly.
With four pick in the Top 100 rookie selections from the 2023 NFL Draft, the Rams could land three or more starters for their 2023 NFL season. Rookie starters this year become four-year starters for this team. That aligns perfectly with the Rams current strategy.
