Falling to 0-2 for 1st time since 2011 triggers several Rams doomsday scenarios

Let it ride, or should Rams plan to reset the roster once more?
No the sky is not falling. No the Rams season can still turn around. But the parallels to the 2022 NFL season are becoming too frequent to easily disregard now. In 2022, the Rams started the season with a record of 3-3 before the bottom dropped out due to so many injuries. But the team ended the year at 5-12 that season.
The Rams are already 0-2 in 2024. With the team facing the San Francisco 49ers (1-1), at the Chicago Bears (likely to be 2-1 by that time), and the Green Bay Packers (likely to be no worse than 2-2 at that time), there are no obvious wins on the schedule right now.
And if the Rams open the 2024 NFL season with a record of 0-5, that will almost certainly prompt the team to give strong consideration to resetting this roster once again. After all, the Rams draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft still include one pick in Round 1 and two picks on Day 2. And if the team parts ways with expensive veterans at the 2024 NFL Trade Deadline, the front office could add to the team's seven projected draft picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
But as we've come to realize all too often, don't look for the team to come out of any trades with more return than expected.
Yes, I'm certain to get some pushback from fans. But this is all new territory for the team. The Rams have not started a season 0-2 since 2011. That is not an overreaction, that is the reality of the team after just two games. By the Week 6 BYE, the team can do no better than 3-2. On the other hand, the team could limp into their Week 6 BYE with a record of 0-5.
If nothing else, this team has a lot of soul searching to do. The Rams have been humiliated by the Arizona Cardinals in grand fashion. But losing a game by a ridiculously lopsided score is not the biggest loss in Week 2. The team lost the respect of a huge number of NFL fans too.
Week 3 will be here before we know it. And never rule out the LA Rams or HC Sean McVay too quickly. The San Francisco 49ers are next. The Rams can reclaim a lot of lost respect by beating the 49ers in Week 3.
But admittedly, that seems very unlikely at the moment. Thanks for reading.
