There is more to winning than a group of 53 players in the NFL. For that matter, it takes more than a great strategy of Xs and Os on a whiteboard. Because success in the NFL is so very dependant on the sacrifices of some to afford game altering performances by others, there has to be an exhorbitant amount of trust and chemistry in the locker room. That, and authentic friendship. Warriors in the trenches will not make the necessary sacrifices for unworthy teammates.

The LA Rams did not end the 2022 NFL season at 5-11, and immediately have all of the answers for a successful 2023 NFL season. The challenge was not simple or one matter. The Rams, in the zealous quest to hoist a Lombardi Trophy in SoFi Stadium, burned through every asset, player, and coach to get there.

2022 was not simply a matter of injuries. The Rams organization struggled in 2022 because the Rams had hit the wall of mental fatigue, depleted staff in the admin office as well as the coaching staff, and the entire organization never had that chance to decompress before lining up to do it all over again.

Rams reload rookies onto the Rams roster

Thankfully, where the LA Rams are concerned, that is not something that these Rams players need to concern themselves with. Whether intentional or not, the decision to bring rookies into the Rams roster has paid far more dividends than just relieving the pressure to fit under the salary cap.

With an incredible number of new faces on the team, the Rams were reminded why they play the game of football. The veterans on the team were abruptly reintroduced to the passion and energy of rookies. And most of all, the Rams were very selected over who was chosen to join the team.

The Rams wanted the right kind of men for the next journey to a new NFL Championship run.

The Rams were left for dead after that 2022 NFL season. In terms of how the Rams projected for the 2023 NFL season, many NFL analysts overlooked the Rams team as a legitimate contender for the NFL Playoffs. in many cases, it was less about throwing shade at the LA Rams, and more about the vast uncertainty that surrounded a Rams team whose hopes were built on the immediate and instant success from rookies.

And yet, the Rams rookies have outperformed even the loftiest of expectations.

Have LA Rams found the 'right kind of men' for success in 2023? It's hard to conclude otherwise. The Rams are already 8-7, and with two games left in 2023, could improve to a record of 10-7. That is coming from a team that had fallen to a record of 3-6 and limped into a Week 10 BYE.

The LA Rams have taken the turn to vast improvement already. While many fans will be vastly disappointed if the Rams fail to earn a berth in the NFL Playoffs, this team has earned applause already. 14 rookies who were selected by the LA Rams not only all made the active roster, but they actually improved the team significantly.

No matter how you look at it, the Rams have most certainly found 'the right men,' for success in 2023, and for many years to come.
