Here are the easiest games remaining on the LA Rams schedule in 2024
The Los Angeles Rams may have saved their season in Week 3. Could they grab some easy wins with these games the rest of the way?
A 2-2 record after Week 4 is in view, so the Rams could continue saving their season. Their dramatic Week 3 victory has given the injured team new life in 2024, and if they can gradually get players back from injury, this team could pick up right there they left off to end the 2023 NFL Season.
The LA Rams have a ton of talent and are better than many teams in the NFL when healthy. These three, teams, however, should present fewer challenges compared to the rest of their opponents.
Here are the easiest games remaining on the LA Rams schedule in 2024
Can the Rams continue their winning ways? Or is this simply a matter of one-and-done? So far in 2024, the Rams best games have come against their toughest opponents. That has both a boon and a bane. The boon is that the Rams can compete with any NFL team this season. The bane is the face that the team shows signs of playing down to their competition.
Week 4 @ Chicago Bears
The Los Angeles Rams have a great chance in front of them in Week 4 to even up their record at 2-2. They travel to Chicago to face the Bears. Chicago's offensive line and run game have been horrible this season, and with the Rams featuring a very talented and deep defensive line, LA will have Caleb Williams running for his life.
The rookie QB has been sacked 13 times already and ended up throwing the ball over 50 times in their Week 3 loss. If LA can stop the run and get an early lead, that'll force Chicago to abandon the run a bit and again put a lot on Williams' plate. This should end up being a double-digit win for the Rams and just one of those games that they shouldn't lose unless something totally unexpected happens.
Week 7 vs. Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are a mess and will have to play the Rams at SoFi in Week 7. The Raiders just got the doors blown off of them by Andy Dalton and the Carolina Panthers.
From top to bottom, the Raiders are a mess. They don't have a viable QB, prematurely hired Antonio Pierce for the full-time head coaching role, and hired a failed, re-tread GM in Tom Telesco. There really isn't much of anything to like about the Raiders at this point, and when Week 7 rolls around, Vegas may only have two-ish wins, so they could also be prepared to be sellers at the trade deadline.
This game should be no problem for Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams.
Week 11 @ New England Patriots
Another easy game on paper comes in Week 11 when they travel to play the New England Patriots. The Patriots shocked the NFL when they beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1, but have since lost their last two games. The main issue with the Patriots is their horrid offensive line, and the OL play is so bad that I am not sure they'd even be comfortable throwing rookie QB Drake Maye out there.
Jacoby Brissett is the starter and is probably going to remain the starter throughout the 2024 NFL Season. The Patriots also don't have much at wide receiver and have a decent at best running back situation. New England is a bit stingy on defense but nothing special. To be fair to the Patriots, they are clearly rebuilding, so this team wasn't going to be very good to begin with.
The Rams are far from in a rebuild mode, so when you consider roster talent and coaching, LA has advantages all over the place. Now yes, the Rams could be like any other team where they unexpectedly get upset here and there.
I'm not saying that can't happen, but these three opponents are clearly weaker than most and should be teams that the Los Angeles Rams can take advantage of.
