If we really aren't going to be able to watch Aaron Donald on TV this year, a monthly viral video isn't the worst consolation prize.

And reader, we're off to a great start. Over the weekend, a video of Donald racing former NFL running back LeSean McCoy and it is GLORIOUS. Something to keep in mind when watching this video is that, according to Google at least, Donald weighs almost 80 lbs more than McCoy. And McCoy was literally paid millions of dollars to be among the fastest runners in a league full of elite athletes. Like I said, just something to keep in mind. Maybe play the video on mute if you're in the office, though.

Aaron Donald foot race video would be hard to believe if it wasn't Aaron Donald

Insane. Just insane. I know that McCoy hasn't been in the league for a while and is five years older, but still – he's a running back! In a 40-yard dash! And Donald's wearing jeans. Everything about this would make me think that Donald doesn't have a chance in hell. And yet, because it's Aaron Donald, not only does he win, but he wins convincingly. He's just out here beating former NFL running backs in 40-yard dashes while wearing jeans and sneakers.

It does warm my heart to know that even after he's done playing in the NFL, Donald is still finding a way to embarass other NFL players. When you're as generationally gifted at doing that as Donald is, it's nice to see him not give it up the moment he retires. Here's where I could certainly make a case that Donald's still in The Best Shape of His Life and would probably make another All-Pro team the moment he put the pads back on, but to be honest, I sorta love this bit for him right now. I reserve the right to change my tune when the Rams' pass rush is depressingly average this season, but for now, this works well for everyone. Except LeSean McCoy.
