It's time for the Los Angeles Rams to ramp up their aggression for 2024

It's time, Les.

The Los Angeles Rams may be right on the brink of something special in the 2024 NFL Season, and while they have been active all offseason, now is the time to kick it up a notch. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is wanting a trade. Their Hall of Fame left tackle, Trent Williams, is also unhappy with his current deal.

Third-year QB Brock Purdy is due for a contract extension next offseason. George Kittle and Deebo Samuel are slowly starting to get old. Folks, now is the time for Les Snead to ramp up the aggression. Their biggest obstacle to success is beginning to falter a bit. Once the Niners trade Aiyuk, they're that much weaker.

The 49ers were not going to have this current corps of players forever, and even if the LA Rams have a one-year window opening, they should take advantage. It's not like there aren't other disgruntled players across the NFL. What about Patriots pass rusher Matthew Judon? Could the Rams stand to add someone like that? I think so.

What about the LT spot? Alaric Jackson is hurt at the moment and might not be 100% for Week 1. Is it outrageous for me to suggest that LA should look to the free agent market and perhaps sign someone like Charles Leno or DJ Humphries?

The WR3 position could be up in the air a bit as well. Outside of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, the Rams may not have another consistent WR. Could they dip into the FA market and look at someone like Hunter Renfrow or Michael Thomas? I don't see why not. You see, the Rams probably did not expect to be as good as they were in 2023, and at this point, it feels like they are a whole year ahead of this roster reconstruction. All of a sudden, they are surely one of the 10 best teams in football.

They have a duo at head coach and quarterback that also just won a Super Bowl about three years ago. I don't see any good reason for GM Les Snead to not make another major push before the season begins. While their rivals, the 49ers, are dealing with some unhappy players, the Rams should continue to load up in an effort to win back the NFC West in the 2024 NFL Season.
