Finally, we get to an experienced offensive lineman here in the fifth round that comes in with a great overall frame and versatility, position-wise. Illinois' Isaiah Adams comes in being able to play both guard and tackle, but most experts believe he is best suited on the interior.

Adams stands 6-foot-5, 320 pounds and looks every bit of the part. He played both tackle positions and both guard positions over his collegiate career at Illinois, so he truly does come with a lot of experience and knowledge up front.

What makes him best suited as an interior lineman are two main aspects of his game. First of all, he doesn't move as well laterally, which tackles have to be able to do at the pro level. Second, he has a finisher's mentality in the run game. That, above everything else, is what you love to see in a guard prospect.

On an offense like this one, Adams fits the mold. Kyren Williams is a physical, downhill type of runner and, as a collective unit, the Rams' offensive line wants to continue establishing that mentality. Adams may not come in right away and start, but he could push the group over training camp and the summer months.
