NFL Free Agency market at safety position resemble Guy Fieri's Flavortown
Some positions are hot, some positions are not. That's simply how it goes in the NFL. Whether it's the result of rule changes that favor one aspect of the game over another, or simply the gradual impact of the 'copycat league' aligning with the recent successful trends of NFL Championship teams, there will always be a force that attempts to coalesce NFL teams to similar strategies on the football field and in reconstructing new team rosters for the next season.
