The 2023 Los Angeles Rams are going to look much different than they did last season, especially at some key positions.

Now, some of those differences will be a positive. For instance, having Matthew Stafford back and hopefully healthy will be a welcomed difference. But, there are some players the Rams have allowed to leave over the last offseason or two that they might miss.

The good news for each of these specific players is, they get a chance for revenge against their old Rams team in 2023. In fact, this coming season is set up pretty nicely for some notable names to come out swinging against L.A.

Matt Gay, K

This offseason, the Rams saw their starting kicker, for the last three years, sign a hefty deal with the Indianapolis Colts. Matt Gay inked a 4-year, $22.5 million contract with Indy, and he'll get a chance to play the Rams in Week 4.

During this stint with the Rams, Gay was one of the best kickers in football, which is why he received such a pretty penny from the Colts. In total, he made 74 of 80 field goals in a Rams uniform. He also made 95 of 97 extra points over the past three seasons.

Over his last three seasons in L.A., Gay connected on 12 of 15 field goals from 50-plus yards. That's one heck of a conversion rate on the tougher kicks. In a game that could be tight between two teams trying to establish their identity for the future, Gay might end up being a difference-maker for the Colts.
