2. Los Angeles Rams (112 points scored)

Here we are. Although the Rams are no. 3 in the standings, they sit no. 2 in these power rankings thanks to a single extra point kick putting them over the Seahawks. Los Angeles may be 2-3, but they have played better than most would have expected this season.

Matthew Stafford is playing great football. Puka Nacua has been arguably the league's most impressive surprise through Week 5. And, the team just got Cooper Kupp back in the fold. Offensively, they should be just fine. Last week, they went up against a stingy Philadelphia defense which allowed them just 14 points. But, going forward, we should continue to see the offense rise.

The Rams just need a little more help defensively. They aren't a bad unit by any means, sitting just inside the top half of the league in terms of yards and points given up. But, one or two more big plays could be the difference.

The same goes for the offense, though, as the Rams sit in the middle of the pack, averaging just over 22 points per game on the season. They aren't far off from being a much better football team. Just a few plays, here and there, could be the difference for Los Angeles.
