1. San Francisco 49ers (167 points scored)

This should have been the most obvious spot to predict, of course, as the San Francisco 49ers are not just the best team in the NFC West but quite possibly in all of football right now. At 5-0, the 49ers look like the most complete team in the NFL and, offensively, appear to be unstoppable.

It is pretty impressive, considering it hasn't mattered much who is under center for the 49ers as long as Kyle Shanahan is head coach. But, we have to give some credit to second-year quarterback Brock Purdy, He's not just a fill-in anymore. This is his job, and he's earned it.

Purdy has been the sole reason why this offense is so good. Obviously, Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle are big-time weapons. But, Purdy has looked the part, regardless of who he's throwing to. His accuracy, timing and ball placement has been as good as anyone's in the league so far.

Purdy is second in the league in yards per attempt (9.3), has yet to throw an interception and leads the league in quarterback rating by a mile (123.1).

The 49ers aren't going to slow down anytime soon, so at this stage, everybody else is playing for second place, and that's a fact.
