100th Overall Pick - Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech

The Los Angeles Rams have urgent, first-round caliber needs in the secondary, but they won't pick a DB in the first few rounds. They'll take CB Dorian Strong from Virginia Tech in this 2025 NFL mock draft. LA signed two CBs of note this offseason in Tre'Davious White and Darious Williams.

White is simply unplayable at this point and Williams is hurt, so the Rams not only need to add some CB help now, but also address the position in free agency and in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dorian Strong is the pick here as the Rams seek to overhaul their secondary similar to how they did their defensive line.

112th Overall Pick - Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame

Two-straight picks in the secondary has the Rams building something special back there. Twelve picks later they take Xavier Watts, a safety from Notre Dame. Watts began his college career at wide receiver, moved to linebacker, and is now a safety.

Watts also had a whopping seven interceptions in 13 games for the Fighting Irish in 2023, so he's got a nose for the ball. The Rams did take safety Kamren Kinchens in the 2024 NFL Draft and also signed Kamren Curl, but Watts would give the Rams a ton of versatility at the position. Watts could be deployed close to the line of scrimmage.

He's already got one interception in 2024 and has 121 total tackles. This would be a great pick for the Rams to make in the 2025 NFL Draft.

184th Overall Pick - Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon

A transfer from Troy, Tez Johnson now plays his college ball at Oregon and had 1,182 yards in the 2023 season. He's caught 249 receptions over his collegiate career thus far, so he's got the experience in that regard. The Rams may end up saying goodbye to an all-time great in Cooper Kupp.

Injuries are beginning to pile up too much, and the Rams should simply turn the page next offseason. This would force them to re-stock their WR room with more young talent, so they take a stab on Johnson in this NFL mock draft.
