Running back Darrell Henderson will not return in 2024

The running back position has been all over the place since the great Todd Gurley left town. Darrell Henderson is just one of several backs the Rams have tried featuring over the last few years, and although his reuniting in Los Angeles this season was a smart move, next year will be different.

The Rams will probably keep Kyren Williams, who has played well this year, but otherwise they should go out and totally revamp this running back room. Maybe Ronnie Rivers sticks around, but the Rams need to go out and find some more explosiveness at the position. Henderson might be worth bringing into camp, but the hope would be that competition at the position would breed an even more exciting option.

Tight end Brycen Hopkins will not return in 2024

Back in the 2020 NFL Draft, tight end Brycen Hopkins was considered one of the more tantalizing prospects at his position. The Rams ended up selecting him in the fourth round. Fast forward to present day, and Hopkins has a grand total of 11 receptions for 149 yards in three and a half seasons.

Of course, Tyler Higbee has been the main guy here for a while. But, coming out of Purdue, Hopkins' skill set looked exciting. He was a true pass catching threat with good speed and athleticism, yet has not panned out in the NFL the way he was supposed to.
