4. George Allen

At no. 4, we have George Allen, who is fifth on the Rams' all-time coaching list in terms of wins. He finished his Rams career with a record of 49-17-4. As a whole, Allen's football life is quite impressive. It technically spanned from 1947 all the way to 1990, with a few hiatuses in there.

Allen would finish his NFL career with a winning percentage of .712 and ultimately find himself inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

With the Rams, Allen would find himself continuing to come back. He got his start with the organization back in 1957 as the team's offensive line coach that year. After a few years spent elsewhere, Allen would be hired as the head coach in 1966 and coach there until 1970.

Believe it or not, eight years later, Allen would be brought back for a third time by the Rams, as their head coach for only the 1978 season. Clearly, he was loved by the organization and made a lasting impact.

With the Rams, Allen won NFL Coach of the Year in 1967. He would never win a Super Bowl and only boast a playoff record of 2-7 as a head coach in the NFL, but Allen's career is still quite impressive.
