Cornerback: Cameron McCutcheon

Cornerback was certainly a position the Rams could have addressed in the draft, but they opted not to, other than adding three undrafted free agents when all was said and done. Still, Cameron McCutcheon already has a tough battle en route to a potential roster spot.

At the moment, McCutcheon sits behind Darious Williams, Tre'Davious White, Derion Kendrick and Cobie Durant. One might argue that he could also be behind 2023 sixth-round pick Tre Tomlinson, and these are all just outside corners. We haven't even touched on the nickel spot. McCutcheon will have to work real hard, this summer, if he's wanting to leapfrog some guys ahead of him.

Safety: Tanner Ingle

Finally, the safety position was one the Rams added to pretty significantly over the course of draft weekend. The used a third rounder on Kamren Kinchens out of Miami and followed that up by signing a pair of undrafted free agents, Kenny Logan Jr. and Jaylen McCollough.

Tanner Ingle currently sits behind Kamren Curl, Russ Yeast, Jason Taylor II and Kinchens. It's unlikely the Rams keep more than four safeties, so Ingle is likely to be either cut or part of the practice squad. Ingle was part of the practice squad, at times last year, for the Rams.
