Who will Raheem Morris take with him?

The last time that the LA Rams lost their defensive coordinator to become the head coach of another team, Brandon Staley was hired away from the Rams to take over as the new head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers. But Staley, much like Morris, arrived to his new team from the defensive side of the football.

If you recall, Staley attempted to interview Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O'Connell to become his offensive coordinator. But due to the fact that it was a lateral move, and not promotion, the Rams were able to deny that request. Unfortunately, the Rams lost O'Connell to the Minnesota Vikings the following year.

But there is a lesson to be learned from that experience from three years ago. Namely, the LA Rams are very likely about to be impacted by other positional coaches being hired away, and specifically those coaches who will ultimately joining Raheem Morris as he assembles his own new coaching staff with the Atlanta Falcons.

One such name who is among the latest Rams rumors to have an inside track as the Falcons new offensive coordinator is LA Rams QB coach/Pass Game Coordinator Zac Robinson.

Thanks to his incredible work with former Rams backup QB Baker Mayfield, and this year's veteran QB Carson Wentz, Zac Robinson hs skyrocketed to the top of NFL positional coaches who are now being considered, and interviewed, for offensive coordinator positions. While he has been requested to interview with a number of NFL teams, NFL Rumors continue to heat up as Morris' OC.

But that is only one staff position. The Falcons will need a new DC as well. So any positional coach who feels ready to take over the DC role for Raheem Morris but fails to be promoted will have an immediate option to interview and be hired as Raheem Morris' DC with the Atlanta Falcons.
