Rams Draft Grades: What are the experts saying about the 2024 class?
The Los Angeles Rams added 10 new players to their roster in the 2024 NFL Draft. Their first-round pick was Jared Verse and then they added Braden Fiske, Blake Corum, and Kamren Kinchens on Day 2. On Day 3, the Rams drafted Brennan Jackson, Tyler Davis, Joshua Karty, Jordan Whittington, Beaux Limmer, and KT Leveston.
The Rams will be entering the post-Aaron Donald era so it wasn't surprising to see them add four players to help out their defensive line and pass-rushing department. How did draft analysts think the Rams did with their selections?
Rams 2024 Draft Grades
Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: A
Prisco loved the Rams' draft and said that their best pick was Brennan Jackson in the fifth round, noting "He will bring a relentless style that will keep him in the league for a long time. He is perfect for the Rams defense."
His least favorite pick was Corum in Round 3 because he thinks Kyren Williams is a solid running back for them. Prisco thinks LA could have waited to get another running back.
"They finally had a first-round pick after not having one since 2016 and used it on edge Jared Verse. He fills a need and will be a tough, edge player. They followed that up by trading up to take Florida State defensive tackle Braden Fiske in the second. They gave up a lot to get him, so they must love him. Les Snead had another good draft. "

Chad Reuter, NFL.com: A-
Reuter pointed out that the first 14 picks being offensive players helped the Rams out massively, as they got a steal with Verse at 19. He liked the pick of Fiske but felt that LA gave up too much to move up and nab him in the second round.
Trevor Sikkema, PFF: B+
Sikkema wrote about every pick and said that the Rams were able to land one of the best pass-rushers available in the draft with their Verse selection. He also points out that the team gave up a lot to move up and get Fiske so let's hope Fiske proves the Rams made the right call in their decision to be aggressive.
