Somehow, Bleacher Report returned.

If you thought that the start of the preseason would finally bring us some much-needed relief from their very specific brand of weird trades that barely make sense, I'm sorry to report that you underestimated them. Because reader, they're back and better than ever. Or maybe they're just back.

B/R took a look at every single team in the NFL (!) and put one of their players on the trade block, which is how that usually works in real life. For the Rams' part, Bleacher Report thinks it's time to end the TuTu Atwell experiment. I'll let them explain it to you.

Rams move on from TuTu Atwell in B/R's latest Trade Suggestion piece

"The fight for targets has been a battle for Atwell, specifically with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua serving as the integral weapons for the overall success of L.A.'s aerial attack. The presence of other talent has reduced the opportunities available for Atwell, making it difficult to showcase his ability on a larger scale ... Atwell's speed is undeniably a weapon, but if it is not being maximized within the current system, it would be pragmatic for the Rams to explore the market."

In theory, Atwell hasn't produced quite to the level of what's expected out of a guy taken in the middle of the second round. But also, even the most brief glance at Football Reference paints the picture of a player getting better each season"

2021: Eight games, 0 catches, put on IR in November
2022: 13 games, 18 catches, 298 yards, one touchdown
2023: 16 games, 39 catches, 483 yards, three touchdowns

Looks pretty good to me! With the injury/age concerns the Rams are currently dealing with at wide receiver, it seems like "speedy 24-year old who's getting much better each season" would be a valuable guy to hold on to, but what do I know. Why keep promising players when you can trade them for future draft capital!!!
