The LA Rams have made five picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, with five picks to go. Because the team has four selections in Round 6, we will be getting articles up very quickly. The goal is to ensure that you get the information quickly, but that we allow ourselves enough time to assess the player, and his history, and to try to project how he might fit the roster right now.

The team has pulled no punches so far in an effort to balance the level of the defense to that of the offense. so far, the team has drafted four of five players on the defensive side of the football. Will the team attempt to balance out the draft? Or was the plan to load up the defense all along?

In any case, the Rams doubled down on the defensive front, and once more have landed a great value in Clemson DT/NT Tyler Davis. Davis stands 6-foot-2 and tips the scales at 301 pounds. He is a bit undersized for an NFL nose tackle, but he more than makes up for it with exceptional athleticism.

Davis is a huge bodied fire plug who is agile and fast for a defensive tackle. But among all of his agility, speed, and brute force is a guy who can impose his will on the offense at the point of attack. He does not bend nor break, choosing to stand his ground and toss blockers aside until he finds the guy with the football.

Davis plays nose tackle in a very similar style to that of Kobie Turner. He has tremendous power that he uses to sever double teams and make the play on the running back. He is going to push hard for defensive snaps, and I believe he has the ability to start for this team as early as 2025.
