The Los Angeles Rams haven't always been in Los Angeles but they still have quite the storied history. The Rams have made it to five Super Bowls during their existence and have won two Super Bowl titles, including one as recent as the 2021 season.

The first-ever Super Bowl appearance for the Rams came in 1979 (Super Bowl XIV) when they unfortunately lost the big game. It'd take 20 years for the Rams to make it back to the NFL's biggest game and by that point the team had relocated to St. Louis. Just five years after making the move to the Midwest, the Rams won their first-ever Super Bowl (XXXIV).

Unfortunately, while the Rams got back two years later for Super Bowl XXXVI, they fell short of the victory. That 2001 season was the last time the Rams made it to the Super Bowl until the 2018 season, when they were back in Los Angeles. The team lost Super Bowl LIII but made it back during the 2021 season (Super Bowl LVI) and got their second title.

How many Super Bowl appearances do the Rams have?

How many Super Bowls have the Rams won?

The Rams have won two Super Bowl titles, making them 2-3 in the big game. They won Super Bowls XXXIV and LVI, which were 22 years apart.

What years did the Rams go to the Super Bowl?

The Super Bowls aren't played in the same NFL season so it can be tricky to keep track of them sometimes. The first time the Rams punched their ticket to the Super Bowl was during the 1979 season, but the game was played in 1980. Their other appearances came in 2000, 2002, 2019, and 2022.

Who have the Rams played against in the Super Bowl?

The Rams' first Super Bowl appearance (XIV) was against the Pittsburgh Steelers, who cemented their dynasty with the 31-19 win. The Rams faced the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV and won their first championship with a 23-16 win.

Super Bowl XXXVI wasn't as kind to the Rams, as they fell to the New England Patriots by a score of 20 to 17 and helped the Patriots launch the first of their two dynasty runs. The Rams fell to the Patriots again in Super Bowl LIII, which funny enough was the Pats' final Super Bowl win of their second dynasty.

Super Bowl LVI pitted the Los Angeles Rams against the Cincinnati Bengals, who had shocked the world by getting to the big game. Fortunately, the right result happened and the Rams won it 23-20 to clinch their second Super Bowl victory, this time at SoFi Stadium, the Rams' home stadium.

Which Rams have been crowned Super Bowl MVP?

Kurt Warner was named Super Bowl MVP for XXXIV after throwing for 414 yards and two touchdowns.

Cooper Kupp received the Super Bowl LVI MVP award after collecting eight catches for 92 yards and finding the end zone twice in the 23-20 victory. Kupp was the eighth wide receiver to be crowned MVP of the big game and the first since Julian Edelman did so against the Rams in Super Bowl LIII.
