The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers will face-off in an NFC West matchup that'll be virtually meaningless for both teams.

The 49ers are set as 4-point favorites but with this largely being a battle of backups, maybe betting on player props is the way to go instead. I have three anytime touchdown scorers locked in for this Week 18 showdown.

Rams vs. 49ers TD Bets

  • Puka Nacua anytime TD
  • Ronnie Rivers anytime TD
  • Rams defense anytime TD

Puka Nacua anytime TD

Puka Nacua needs four receptions to break the rookie receptions record and 29 receiving yards to break the rookie receiving yards record. That's likely a big reason why he's the only offensive star that's set to play in this game with the likes of Matt Stafford, Kyren Williams, and Cooper Kupp resting.

The Rams want Nacua to secure those records so we know they're going to throw his way early and often which makes betting on him to find the end zone a solid bet.

Ronnie Rivers anytime TD

With Kyren Williams resting, Ronnie Rivers is likely to handle the majority of the carries for the Rams. Los Angeles will likely run the ball as often as possible to drain the clock and keep their team healthy. Not only that, but the weakness of the 49ers defense is their ability to stop the run, ranking 18th in opponent yards per carry, giving up an average of 4.3 per rush.

Rams defense anytime TD

Let's get crazy and bet on the Rams to score a defensive touchdown. Anything can happen in a battle of backups and let's not forget how bad Sam Darnold can be, who will be playing quarterback for the 49ers today. He has 56 interceptions in his career to only 62 passing touchdowns.

If he throws a pick or two today, there's a chance the Rams return it for six points.
