Rams vs. Lions final score prediction for NFL Wild Card Weekend
There are storylines galore surrounding the Super Wild Card Weekend edition of Sunday Night Football when Matthew Stafford and the Rams head to Detroit to take on Jared Goff and the Lions.
The Rams are set as underdogs in the game, but they're a popular pick to upset the Lions and advance to the Divisional Round.

In this article, I'm going to attempt the improbable and try to predict the exact final score for the game. Let's dive into it.
Rams vs. Lions odds, spread, and total
Rams final score prediction
If you got the chance to read this week's edition of the "Road to 272 Bets", then you know that I like the Rams to pull off the upset.
This is a nightmare matchup for the Lions, who have one of the worst secondaries in the NFL, ranking 30th in opponent yards per pass attempt along with 25 in both opponent dropback EPA and opponent dropback success rate.
Stafford and the Rams' receiving core should have a field day against this defense.
But what about the total? In terms of points, I'm leaning towards the OVER. My reason for backing the Rams is based on the assumption their offense is going to get moving early and often, but I can't completely discount the Lions offense either.
Detroit's offense enters the game averaging the fifth most points per game this season at 27.1.
I think we're going to enjoy an offensive shootout on Sunday night with the Rams coming out on top.
Final score prediction: Rams 31, Lions 28
