Ranking Rams’ biggest NFL draft gems of the last decade

II - All Pro wide receiver
It's impossible to envision the LA Rams Super Bowl LVI victory without the over-the-top performance that season from All-Pro wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Kupp was selected in the 2017 NFL Draft in Round 3 with the 69th overall pick. Like many players on this list, he proved his worth in his rookie season, catching 62 of 94 passes thrown his way for 869 yards and five touchdowns.
Kupp was a perennial 1000 yard receiver, a player who could make catches and put up plenty of yards after the catch. For years, both Kupp and his teammate Robert Woods would plague NFL secondaries with a one-two punch that seemed to keep them off-balance and guessing.
But with the arrival of veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford in 2021, things changed rapidly. Kupp began to make catches all over the football field, and his numbers began to skyrocket. By season's end, Kupp had shattered multiple franchise single-season receiving records, and flirted with setting single season receiving records for the NFL. That year Kupp earned his first All-Pro honors, as well as MVP of Super Bowl LVI.
Since 2021, Kupp has suffered two injury-shortened seasons that have opened up room for questions over how much longer can he play at an elite level. Kupp will soon turn 31, and his durability has been a concern throughout his NFL career. But 2021 was an unforgettable season, and one that has earned him the right to be runner up.
