The Los Angeles Rams have some very talented position groups on their roster, but which three units are the most talented? You have to tip your cap to GM Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay for the recent work they have done with improving the roster. Many teams who do win the Super Bowl tend to fall off for a few seasons before regaining their footing.

Well, the LA Rams did that just one year in 2022, but injuries plagued the team. They were a very good club in 2023 and now look to be a true contender heading into 2024. LA could not find themselves in the contending status without having some talented position groups, and these three are the most talented.

Ranking the three best units on the Los Angeles Rams 2024 roster
3. Wide Receiver - Puka Nacua, Cooper Kupp, Demarcus Robinson

With two prolific wide receivers and a very strong third option, this room is stout. Sure, Cooper Kupp might be entering the back nine of his career, but there is no mistaking how good of a player he still is, and Puka Nacua is just phenomenal in every way. I do believe that Nacua does have a shot at being the NFL's first 2,000-yard wide receiver, especially when you consider that the top two receiving seasons in NFL history came from the right arm of his QB.

Nacua should only get better, and Kupp has proven to be a high-end WR2 at this point in his NFL career. There are many WR rooms in the NFL that have less talent.

2. Quarterback - Matthew Stafford, Jimmy Garoppolo

I understand that Jimmy Garoppolo has to serve a brief suspension, but this QB room is just excellent. You have two passers that both have started Super Bowls and both have successful and substantive playoff experience. Garoppolo has a wicked regular-season record and simply won a ton of games when he was out there.

He brings veteran leadership and quality QB play to the room, and he always seemed to be quite loved by his teammates. You really can't get much better with a backup QB. Matthew Stafford is still a top passer in this league over 15 years later. He showed no signs of slowing down in 2023 and might have another few quality years in him.

The QB room is one that is built for a Super Bowl run.

1. Offensive Line - Alaric Jackson, Jonah Jackson, Steve Avila, Kevin Dotson, Rob Havenstein

From left to right, is there a weakness here? Alaric Jackson should settle into the LT job and looks to be a fine long-term option. The team also signed Jonah Jackson in free agency and extended their own stud guard in Kevin Dotson. Steve Avila was very good as a rookie and Rob Havenstein has been a quality player at RT for years now.

With a strong OL across, this only makes life easier for Matthew Stafford, and I do think this unit can cement itself as one of the best in the NFL in short order during the 2024 season.
