Revised Rams projected 2024 NFL Draft picks and beyond

2026 NFL Draft

The LA Rams have their normal allotment of draft picks. But with no conditions met over the Cam Akers trade, the Rams will not benefit from a draft pick swap with the Minnesota VIkings. And with no basis for determining any compensatory pick awards, the Rams 2026 NFL Draft picks are plain vanilla.

1. Round 1 – The Rams hold their first-round pick
2. Round 2– The Rams hold their second-round pick
3. Round 3 – The Rams hold their third-round pick
4. Round 4 – The Rams hold their fourth-round pick
5. Round 5 – The Rams hold their fifth-round pick
6. Round 6 - The Rams hold their sixth-round pick
7. Round 7 - The Rams hold their seventh-round pick
8. TOTAL - 7 picks

2027 NFL Draft

Once again, the LA Rams selections in the 2027 NFL Draft are simply too far into the future to be anything more than the standard one pick per round for seven rounds allowance.

1. Round 1 – The Rams hold their first-round pick
2. Round 2– The Rams hold their second-round pick
3. Round 3 – The Rams hold their third-round pick
4. Round 4 – The Rams hold their fourth-round pick
5. Round 5 – The Rams hold their fifth-round pick
6. Round 6 - The Rams hold their sixth-round pick
7. Round 7 - The Rams hold their seventh-round pick

The LA Rams have a reputation for spending valuable NFL Draft picks foolishly. But, I disagree. In many ways, the Rams have pierced the veil of NFL teams overinflating the value of draft picks, and shown how elite players in the present tense can be far more effective in building an NFL Championship roster.

But in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Rams reversed course and proved to NFL teams that rookies selected in an NFL Draft can be immediate contributors for a playoff team as well.
